Congratulations to the U18AA team who represented Canada well (as the only Canadian team) and going undefeated in the Girls Preds Classic Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee this past weekend.
The girls played teams from Indiana, Chicago, and Nashville, bringing a healthy Canadian spirit to the competition. Energy was buzzing in the rink as the team cheered on teammates Naren (shootout competitor), Avyn (skating competitor), and Jude (goalie competitor and champion) who participated in the Saturday Night Skills Competition. The girls got to experience Nashville with some traditional country line dancing at the Wildhorse Saloon, some neon lights, cowboy hats, a meet and greet with rising star Harper Grace, and a whole lot of singing along to some classic and new country music. They endured the 13 hour bus ride (twice), made a little lighter with Rockin' Ron. Thanks to Smashville for putting on a great tournament, and thanks to our Ice Cat families for supporting the trip! Great memories were made this weekend! *Boot Scootin' Boogie vibes* forever!
