U18A #2106, REP (Brantford Girls Hockey Association)

This school year has just begun and for those Ice Cats looking at post-secondary education in the fall of 2025, the BGHA offers Player Scholarships.   While this notice is early, we wish to give players lots of advance to prepare for the completion of the application. Next season, the Brantford Girls Hockey Association will be celebrating their 50th year in operation!   Girls’ hockey in Brantford originated in 1974 when registration was opened to girls age 7 – 18.  49 girls paid their $15.00 annual fee (50 cents per practice and Brantford had a girls hockey league!  The league began with 3 hours of ice time per week.
