Bursary Application 2023/2024 Season
The Brantford Girls Hockey Association is pleased to offer competition for a bursary to players who pursue Post Secondary Education. The goal of the program is to reward and recognize outstanding individuals who excel in the classroom, on the ice, in the community and exhibit qualities of leadership and commitment within the BGHA organization.
One bursary will be offered each year to a player that played the current season on a U18 Representative or U18/22 House League Team.
A player will only be eligible for a single lifetime BGHA bursary. The value of the bursary may vary from year to year.
Applications are to be submitted by June 30th, 2024 by players who were registered with BGHA for the 2023-2024 hockey season. A letter of reference including the reference’s name, address and phone number should accompany the application. The successful applicant will be notified after the July Board Meeting. The recipient will be posted in the BGHA Awards page and announced at the 2024 BGHA Banquet.
A copy of a receipt showing registration has been paid to a Post Secondary Institution will be required prior to receiving the award but not required for the completion of the application.
