Bantam HL take SILVER at the London Devilettes Tournament Feb 2020

February is starting out great for the Bantam House League Ice Cats.
This weekend they played in the 30th Annual London Devilettes Tournament with stiff competition.
16 teams divided into 4 Pools. Our Cats were in Pool C with the Whitby Wolves, La Salle Sabre Cats and the Lucan Irish. |

In the Round Robin, each team played 3 games. The Brantford Ice Cats gave it their all by winning all three games: 4-0, 4-1 and 3-0 against the Lucan Irish, the Whitby Wolves and the La Salle Sabre Cats respectively.
The only other team to achieve 3 wins was the South County Predators. |
In the Quarter Finals the Cats played the London Devilettes – Red from Pool D.
The game ended 9-2 for the Cats.
A couple of our players had racked up hat tricks.

The team played the Windsor Wildcats in the Semi-Finals on Sunday
It was a tough game but the Cats took it 4-2 with Lauren Gibbs getting a hat trick. |

The Championship game was against the Whitby Wolves. The Whitby Wolves team only lost 1 game in the tournament and it was the game against our Cats.
The game was well-played but tough. Our Bantam HL Ice Cats ended with Silver. The score was 2-0 for Whitby.

The Bantam HL Ice Cats have had a great regular season – of the 31 games in total played, they have won 28! An amazing team!!
