BGHA Ice Cats are still STARS!
Submitted By Kate Hogarth on Monday, March 16, 2020
While the COVID-19 shut-down of organized sports has been extremely disappointing to all players, families, fans and the Association, this virus is NOT going to be the winner of this season!  We are working at an alternate method of celebrating the accomplishments of our players and teams this season that ensures we are all safe and healthy.

To start, you can check some achievements in our Accomplishment Webpage here.  The second season of our Tyke players, the turn-around of our Peewee HL Ice Cat team and our Bantam HL Ice Cats outstanding season have been added to our list.

It should also be noted that our Senior A Ice Cats would have also been going to the Provincials this season.  They had not finished their regular season and were in 3rd place in the Golden Horseshoe Women’s Hockey League (GHWHL) at the time of shut-down.   Unfortunately they were not able to play their championship weekend.

Our Peewee BB team were also in the 3rd round LLFHL Play-offs where only one game was played – which they won.

Please stay tuned while we continue to problem-solve the presentation of awards.
