Ice Cat of the Week: Morgan McKeraghan
Submitted By Lisa Wallis on Monday, February 3, 2020
This weeks player of the week is Morgan McKeraghan. Morgan is a first year bantam player and she has come such a long way in her hockey game. She plays defence and she protects her zone and her goalie like no other. While on the ice she is a smart hockey player, knowing and anticipating where the play is headed and gives her all to be in the right spot to keep that puck out of our zone.

Morgan has developed a strong work and hockey ethic this season and is a very important part of our Bantam Rep B team. She has gained overall confidence and from this a determination to give her best effort at all times. Morgan participated with every give-back initiative our team did this season. She canvassed at both grocery store locations for our December Food bank collections, helping her team to raise over 1600lbs in donations to benefit her local community. She also has mastered the art of Christmas gift wrapping, not! ..... lol...  for our Christmas Nova Vita family donations event. Morgan is a polite, hard working young lady that has helped her team come a very long way this hockey season so far ... finishing in 2nd place in their LLFHL loop for regular season. Moving into our LLFHL playoffs and OWHA play downs series this team will play their best hockey they can to claim a top title and the amazing opportunity of moving on to season end Provincials in early April. Morgan keep your positive attitude and that hard working initiative up .... it will definitely take you far. Your coaches and teammates.
