Ice Cat of the Week: Grace Carson
This weeks Player of the Week for our Bantam Rep B nomination is Grace Carson. Grace has been a Brantford Ice Cat from the very beginning...... starting way back in our Novice division at a young age.
She has always been a team player and is always willing to learn and work hard to be the best hockey player that she can be. Our coaches praise her strength and positive attitude as well as her hockey skill. Grace you are a force on that ice and exude a hardworking ethic that is contagious, making your line as well as your overall team give their best effort at all times. Every time you step out onto that ice during a game your determination is evident. Our team this season consists of several players who’ve been an Ice Cat player the entire time they’ve played hockey and that is a very amazing thing. They started at a young age and remained playing in the same association each continuing season and we as volunteers thank you for that. We admire that you’ve stayed with the BGHA and that you continue to enjoy playing hockey here, developing into amazing young ladies, as well as athletes. Grace has been a key participant in our team give-back initiatives this season... for our Christmas Nova Vita family donations she was a big help gift wrapping all gifts for each family member, helping to make their Christmas and holiday season that much better. Grace you have excelled this season and it has been amazing watching your level of hockey rise above . This past weekend during our Woodstock tournament, Grace was a major contributor to our teams success making it to the championship medal game on Sunday. Game #1 on the Thursday night she helped her team defeat the host Woodstock team in a hard fought battle on the ice , winning 2-1. Grace , thank you for being a rockstar on that ice, you’re an incredible player to watch. Keep up the great job! Your Coaches and Teammates. This article has been viewed 390 times.
