Ice Cat of the Week: Hailee Saint
Submitted By Lisa Wallis on Monday, January 6, 2020
We would like to nominate Hailee Saint from the Brantford Ice Cats Bantam HL team as player of the week. Hailee is an exceptional young lady. Always a smile on her face and never a negative action from this amazing hockey player. Hailee is a natural leader on her house league team and pushes her team to be the best they can be and their overall team stats definitely prove this statement.

Hockey is an avenue to create a team atmosphere, to guide its players in the sport on as well as off the ice, to teach hockey and life skills, to encourage dedication, grow determination and to show any player to push themselves to be the absolute best athlete that they can be. Hailee has been practicing with the Bantam Rep B team this season as well and has filled in when needed on several occasions as an AP player. From day one she has been the perfect fit with the B team as well. She gives her all and shines on the ice during played games. She plays her defensive position with incredible strength and a hockey talent that comes naturally to this amazing young athlete. Her confidence in herself has grown and we are thrilled to see her playing and pushing her skill to a greater level. amazing accomplishment Hailee. This past weekend playing with the B team in the Woodstock tournament, she helped with the team’s overall success leading them to Sunday’s division championship medal game. Hailee we thank you from the entire coaching staff and team, for always coming through for us when we’ve needed help during games, for coming out to our team functions and practices with a positive attitude and a willingness to improve your hockey skills, for helping with our Christmas Nova Vita donations, our Brantford Food Bank Challenge and for bringing your all while playing with us ...... keep up your hard work as it will take you far in life. You possess the best personality and a work ethic that can’t be taught, it comes naturally to you. Never change, you’re amazing! Bantam B coaches and teammates as well as your HL coaches and teammates.
