Ice Cat of the Week: Olivia MacNaught
Submitted By Lisa Wallis on Monday, December 23, 2019
This weeks Bantam Rep B player of the week is Olivia MacNaught. Olivia has been a proud Ice Cat player from a very young age. She has been a part of both rep and house league teams in various seasons.

She has an awesome outgoing personality and is truly a friend to everyone. Olivia is a defensive minded player on the ice and protects her goalie and her zone with hard work and dedication. She communicates on the ice with her teammates and gives her best effort each and every time.Olivia also plays on her high school hockey team with several fellow teammates and other association Ice Cat players. She loves hockey and puts a lot of effort into improving and always striving to be the best she can be for each game, practice and team session. Our weekly off ice dryland sessions that our players participated in from July up til this past month at Athlete Farm Training has definitely been beneficial to Olivia and created strength and increased her stamina to be a better hockey player. Dryland has been amazing for our entire team overall, now it doesn’t matter if it’s the 3rd period in a game or an extended practice...these young ladies have the muscle and strength to play like the game just started. There’s no quit in these players. Olivia was a key member in all our team give-back initiatives this season as well .... while canvassing at Zehrs and Metro grocery stores for our Food Bank challenge Olivia was a big help letting the customers know why we were there and why donating is so important, especially during the upcoming holiday season.Olivia you are awesome, keep up the great work and always stay kind. You are amazing. Your coaches and teammates.
