Midget Tier 2 Coaching Announcement- The Brantford Girls Hockey Association is very excited to announce that Rob Arabski, Tom Norris and Brian Cross have been awarded the Midget A/Tier 2 Midget Program as Co-Coaches.

Rob Arabski a Brantford resident, grew up and played his AAA hockey in the Brantford Minor Hockey Organization before being drafted to the Guelph Jr. A OHL in 1985 and played there till 1989. He was a member of the Memorial Cup Championship Team in 1986 with the Guelph Platers. He was also the Guelph Platers all-time leading scorer before they moved to Owen Sound.  Rob also signed with the Washington Capitals and attended the Chicago Blackhawks training  camps from 1986-89. Rob played three years at the University of Guelph where he was an All-Canadian in 1992. After University, Rob played professional hockey in Holland for one year and returned in 1995 to play one more year with the Brantford Smoke. After finishing his hockey career Rob has coached at various levels BB-B in the Brantford Ice Cats organization for over 10 years, winning the Bantam A Provincial Championships in 2012. Rob coached with the Avalanche Organizations for 2 years at the Midget AA level. Brian Cross played his entire youth hockey in the Brantford Minor Hockey Organization and 1 year Brantford Junior B before being drafted to the OHL. Drafted by the Pittsburg Penguins, Brian played in the AHL/IHL. He played 5 years in the OHL Senior league winning the Allan Cup with the Cambridge Hornets. After finishing his hockey career Brian has coached in the Brantford Ice Cats Organization for 10 plus years winning the Bantam A Provincial Championship in 2012. Tom Norris a member of organized hockey for the past 30 years has been a coach (BGHA/BMHA), volunteer and member of the Board of Directors(BGHA) for the past 10 years. Tom has experience coaching at all levels from Novice to Midget AA. Tom was Co-Coach of BGHA's Provincial Championship Bantam A team in 2012 with co-coach's Brian Cross and Rob Arabski and was a member of the coaching staff with BGHA's Novice C team who won gold at the LLFHL Championship Weekend Tourney in 2010. Tom's volunteering with BGHA extends well beyond his coaching career and was instrumental in BGHA's current concussion policy. Please see below for contact information for Rob, Brian and Tom.
