The preliminary rounds of the IIHF Women’s World Championship Tournament in Denmark are almost completed.  Canada’s last game is today.
Our Canadian Women’s Hockey team has not disappointed us at all.

We are in Group A that includes the United States, Switzerland, Finland and Japan.

Canada and United States have both won the 3 games they played and both have 9 points.

Canada won against Finland:  4 – 1

Canada won against Switzerland:  4 – 1

Canada won against Japan:  9 – 0

This will be updated once the Canada – US game is finished – they a currently playing – 1st period – Canada 1 – US 0

UPDATE:  Canada (2) lost to the US (5).  :(
Canada goes into the Quarter Finals in 2nd place for Group A.  Quarter Finals start September 1st and who Canada will play has not been determined as yet.
