2025/26 U13B takes SILVER at the Hamilton Hawkey Tournament
| The weekend of March 27th - 29th took our U13B Ice Cats to the Hamilton Hawkey Tournament. The team played in a round robin with 4 other teams: the Stoney Creek Sabres, the Norfolk Hericanes, the Haldimand Rivercats and the St. Thomas Panthers. Each team played 4 games. |
These Cats were on fire this weekend. Friday started with the team winning both their games: the first against Norfolk winning 4-2, and the second against Haldimand winning 1-0.
After a good night's sleep the team was back Saturday morning ready to show their skills, teamwork and determination. This team was wanting a second medal this season. Their first game was against Stoney Creek and had another shut out win of 4-0. The afternoon game was against the St. Thomas Panthers where the team had their first loss of the weekend (1-4). |

| The Ice Cats landed in 2nd place in the round robin that meant they were playing the Championship game on Sunday against the St. Thomas Panthers. |
| It was a well played game. The third period started with the St. Thomas Panthers ahead 2-1. Unfortunately in the last minutes of the game, the Panthers scored on an empty net. |
