2025/26 U13HL Flamborough Winter Chill brings Home the GOLD
| Our U13HL #2131 Ice Cats spent the January 9-11 weekend playing in Flamborough at their Winter Chill Tournament. They were in a pool of 5 other teams: the Mooretown Lady Flags, the Flamborough Falcons Black, the Flamborough Falcons White, the Stoney Creek Sabres Gold and the Ancaster Avalanche Maroon. |
The pressure was on as 1st and 2nd place in the Round Robin would play the Championship Game on Sunday. Our Cats played one game on Friday against the Ancaster Avalanche Maroon and won 2-0. The team played two games on Saturday. Really early Saturday morning the team faced the Flamborough Falcons White team and won 4-0. Later in the day they loss to the Mooretown Lady Flags.
The fourth game was played early Sunday morning against the Flamborough Falcons Black team where our Cats won 7-0. |

| With 3 wins and 1 loss, the U13HL #2131 team was in 1st place after the completion of the Round Robin. They were on to the Championship game. Fans were hoping that the team took a quick power nap before the game. |

The Championship game was against the Stoney Creek Sabres Gold team Sunday afternoon. The U13HL #2131 team remained on fire. The Cats won the game 3-0. Ashley had 3 shut-out games.
