2025/26 U15A Huntsville Annual Tournament brings Home the SILVER
It was a lot colder the weekend of January 9-11 than southern Ontario, it was actually warmer than a typical Huntsville winter. This weather did not chill out our U15A Ice Cats - they were hot.
Our U15A Cats were in a small pool with three other teams: the Huntsville Sting, the West Northumberland Wild and the Woolwich Wild.
Our Cats played 3 games in the Round Robin. On Friday, the team started off with a win over the West Northumberland Wild (6-1) and ended the day with a 1-1 tie against the Woolwich Wild.
The Cats spent the day in Huntsville waiting to play their 7 p.m. game against the Huntsville Sting. They won the game 2-1. |

| This left our U15A team in 1st place in the standings. The Woolwich Wild was in 2nd place. These two teams would meet again in the Finals on Sunday. |

| The Sunday game was at noon. What a game - well played, great teamwork, excellent skills. Nail-biter with a 1-1 score, but the Woolwich Wild broke the tie. Our Cats are bringing home the SILVER. Congratulations team! |
