2025/26 U13B Flamborough Winter Chill brings Home the SILVER
The weekend of Jan 9-11, 2026 was a the best 3 days - not only because the weather was unusually nice, but our U13B Ice Cats showed their hockey skills.
They were in a pool of 5 other teams: the Burlington Barracudas, the Flamborough Falcons, the Kitchener Lady Rangers, the North Halton Twisters and the West Northumberland Wild. |

The team knew the pressure was on as the top two team in the Round Robin would be moving on to the Final.
These Ice Cats were on fire on Friday: winning their 1st game against the West Northumberland Wild (3-2) and then another win against the Burlington Barracudas (4-1).
Bright and early on Saturday morning, these Cats faced off against the Kitchener Lady Rangers. A well played game that ended in a tie (1-1). The next game was against the North Halton Twisters who had won 2 games and tied one - so two evenly matched teams. |

| Unfortunately our Cats loss (2-0) but they were still in 2nd place and they would be playing in the Final Championship game against the North Halton Twisters. |

Sunday's game was a noon and the team was ready. While the Cats worked hard, they ended the weekend with a SILVER medal. We are proud of these Ice Cats for giving us our first tournament win of the Season!
