2024/25 U18HL brings the SILVER at the Gretzky Tournament
| What a weekend the 43rd Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament was for our House League Group! Our U18 HL Ice Cat Team was the 4th House League team to bring home a medal this weekend - that works out to 57% of our HL teams! Great Job! |
Our U18HL Ice Cats were in a pool of five other teams: the Sudbury Lady Wolves; the Kitchener Lady Rangers; the Woolwich Wild; the Central York Panthers and the Clarington Flames. Our Cats played the Kitchener Lady Rangers and the Clarington Flames They won games 3-1, 4-3 respectively. They ran into a strong Sudbury Lady Wolves on Saturday, dropping the game 4-1. The U18 Ice Cats had to wait for the result of a later game, to learn they had a rematch on Sunday with the Lady Wolves.

| In the Championship final, our girls put forth a much stronger effort than the day prior, emptying the reserve tanks with a full team effort, but fell short to Sudbury 3-0. A second Silver was not quite what the team was looking for, but a valiant effort was put forth from start to finish. A great tournament weekend! |
