2024/25 U11HL #2125 brings home the GOLD at Gretzky Tournament

The 43rd Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament was February 21-23, 2025, and it was a tournament that you shouldn't have missed. This season we had two U11 HL Ice Cat teams (#2125 & #2126) that played in this pool along with the Woodstock Wildcats, the South Huron Sabres, the Woolwich Wild and the Lindsay Lynx.
These six teams played in a round robin where the 1st and 2nd place teams would play for the championship (gold and silver medals).

Both the 1st place (South Huron Sabres) and the 2nd place (Brantford Ice Cats) had not lost a game thus far in the tournament and they would now be facing off Sunday for the Championship. These Cats knew they had to play their 'A' game in order to win this Championship as they were playing the team who had 3 shut-out games under their belt. They hadn't played our Cats! The team excelled! They won with a 2-0 shut-out!! These Cats took home the GOLD!!!
