2024/25 U11B brings home another SILVER medal
This past weekend our U11B Ice Cats travelled down the road to Cambridge Roadrunners 29th Annual Girls Hockey Tournament. They were ready to play in a Pool of 5 other teams: the Walkerton Capitals, the Grand River Mustangs, the Niagara Rapids, the Orillia Hawks and the Cambridge Roadrunners. In the Round Robin, they played all the other teams except the Niagara Rapids. They team showed off their hockey skills, determination and team work with 3 wins and one loss at the end of the round robin.
This put them into the position of playing the GOLD on Sunday where the 1st and 2nd place teams battled for the top medal. |

The Sunday game was against the Walkerton Capitals - who hadn't lost a game in the Round Robin. The team knew that they had give their best show. While our Cats didn't bring home the GOLD, they did bring home their 2nd SILVER this season. To be noted that while they lost, the team played wiser and harder this game with a better outcome than the 1st Walkerton game. The goal of continuous improvement - met!
