2024/25 U13A Beats the Winter Chill with a GOLD
| The weekend of January 9th, 2025 had our U13A Ice Cats in Flamborough playing their Winter Chill Tournament. They played in a pool of 4 teams: the Flamborough Falcons, the Grand River Mustangs and the Waterloo Ravens. |
In the Round Robin, our Cats ended in 1st place. The games were:
1. Cats played Grand River Mustangs - win - 2-0
2. Cats played Flamborough Falcons - win - 3-0
3. Cats played Waterloo Ravens - tie - 1-1 |
| The semi-finals were played really, really early Sunday morning where the team played the Flamborough Falcons. They won a spot in the Championship game with a 1-0 win. They would be playing the Waterloo Ravens in the afternoon. |
| The Championship game was a nail-biter, but this team was determined to bring home a GOLD medal. Great game; well played; team work ++; which resulted in the U13A team winning 2-1 and bring home the GOLD! Congratulations Cats! |
