2024/25 U15B bring home the SILVER from the Barrie Sharkfest

Our U15B Ice Cats travelled up to Barrie the weekend of November 15th, 2024 to play in the Sharkfest Tournament. They were in a large pool of 12 teams from Carleton, East Ottawa, Central York, Bluewater, Mount Forest, Barrie, Burlington, Hamilton, North Simcoe, Ancaster, Orangeville and Us.
In the Round Robin, these Cats played the Carleton Place Cyclones, the Hamilton Hawks, and the Barrie Sharks. |

| The top eight teams from the Round Robin moved on to the Quarter-Finals. This had our Cats playing the Carleton Place Cyclones (who had won all three RR games). This did not deter our team and they gave this game their best and won (3-1). They were now on to the Semi-Finals. |

The Semi-Final games were Sunday morning. The team played the Mount Forest Rams. Great game but OMG, it was 1-1 at the end of the 3rd period. This means a shoot-out.
Sweaty palms, pounding heart beats but these Cats delivered! They won 2-1. On to the Championship game in the afternoon! |

The Championship game was played against the Burlington Barracudas. The team gave it their all, and ended the tournament with a SILVER Medal.
