U11B Ice Cats win SILVER at the Barrie Sharkfest 2023-2024

This weekend our U11B Ice Cats played in the Barrie Sharkfest Tournament the weekend of November 17-19 2023. There were 8 teams in total and our cats were in Pool A with the Mount Forest Rams, the London Devilettes, and the Orillia Hawks.
In the Round Robin, this team excelled! The started Friday morning early with a win against the London Devilettes (2-1). In the early afternoon, the won against the Mount Forest Rams (2-0)
Once again they were up early on Saturday when they were defeated by the Orillia Hawks (2-3) but this still put them into the Quarter Finals. Saturday afternoon they played the Toronto Leaside Wildcats and won (9-0)
Sunday morning was their Semi-Final game against the London Devilettes. For their 5th game in the weekend, the won (3-0). On to the Championship game.
Their last game of the weekend was playing the Orillia Hawks again. The game ended with these Ice Cats earning the SILVER. The game was 3-0 for Orillia.
