U9 HL Gets 2nd in 1st Tournament 2022-23

Our U9 HL Ice Cats played their 1st Tournament this season January 27th - 29th in the Ayr Rockets Winter Blast. They didn't just PURRR with team play but they ROARED with their developed hockey skills!
This young team played 6 games in 3 days against the teams of Waterloo, Woolwich, Woodstock, Saugeen Shores and Ayr.
These Cats were in 1st place at the end of the tournament's Round Robin. Their games were:
1. A win against the Waterloo Ravens (5-1)
2. A win against the Woolwich Wild (4-0)
3. Started out Saturday with another win against the Woodstock Wildcats (6-4)
4. Their 1st loss was Saturday afternoon against Saugeen Shores Storm (2-4)
5. Sunday morning came with another win against the Ayr Rockets (3-1)
With our Cats in 1st place, Saugeen Shores was in 2nd place at the end of Round Robin.
The Championship game was Sunday afternoon.
A truly nail biting game that ended 1-0 for Saugeen Shores.
