Despite 2 years of lockdowns, screenings, restrictions, challenges and interruptions, this team was not going to let anything stop them this season from excelling in female hockey! |

This season the team played in the Central West division with 7 other teams in the pod. Overall this team has had 32 wins; 2 losses and 5 ties this season. Amazing |

In November 2021, these Cats played their first tournament in Barrie - the Barrie Sharkfest.
The team played 3 games in the Round Robin:
- Game 1 was a win against the Barrie Sharks (5-1)
- Game 2 was a tie against the Napanee Crunch team (2-2)
- Game 3 against the Collingwood Lightning team was won 2-1.
This put the team in the Championship final game against the Napanee Crunch team. It was going to be a tough game but the Cats won 3-2 to bring home the GOLD!

After Christmas 2021, hockey went into shutdown until late January 2022. |
|
|
Once the games started again, it took the team a couple of games to get their groove back - and boy, did they ever!
As of February 13th, this team did not lose any regular season games - a total of 8 games. |

Included in this run of wins for these Ice Cats was the 40th Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament.
The team was in a pool of six teams: Grand River Mustangs, North Durham Blades, Gloucester-Cumberland Stars, Mississauga Hurricanes, Scarborough Sharks and our Ice Cats.

Game 3: North Durham Blades vs Ice Cats (W) 5-1
