Brantford set the tone early against Ancaster this evening scoring two goals in the 1st period at 8 minutes followed quickly by a second a minute later; crisp passing by #9 Avyn Miller connected with #12 Shaye Gardner in front of the Ancaster net opening it up for #77 Virginia Cavanagh to score the 1st. #88 Emily White-Stephenson charged the net after Brantford continued to shoot, scoring the 2nd assisted by winger #4 Grace Jacklyn.
Solid net minding by #33 Bella Miller motivated the Ice Cats D to keep Ancaster out of their end - holding the opponents to only 9 shots on goal! Good job cats!
