Ice Cat of the Week: Ellie Silva
Submitted By Lisa Wallis on Tuesday, January 14, 2020
This weeks Bantam Rep B Player of the week nomination is Ellie Silva . Ellie is an absolute rock star on the ice. She is a naturally talented hockey player and continues to improve as the season goes on, always giving her absolute best effort. For this Ellie your teammates and coaching staff thank you.

Ellie has been a Brantford Ice Cat from the very beginning and remains loyal to her association as well as her teammates. Ellie is a key member on our Bantam team this season, she leads by example and represents her entire team with her hard work, positive attitude and passion for this amazing sport. She never misses a practice, game or team event and showing this much dedication to her team is very honourable. This team is like a second family this season. These girls spend so much time together and they truly enjoy everything extra that we’ve been able to do as a team. They show each other compassion, care and this shows on the ice during their games. A team that gets along and respects each other, pushes and works that much harder each other for the best end result each and every game. This also makes a hockey season that much more enjoyable overall ....... never want it to end lol! Ellie worked hard during all of our team give-back initiatives as well .... she participated for all the right reasons and truly wanted to make and create a positive difference for others in need.  Ellie thank you for being such a hard worker and being a positive influence with your teammates. Keep up the great job, you are truly awesome! Your coaches and teammates.
