Ice Cat of the Week: Jasmine Klunder
Submitted By Lisa Wallis on Monday, December 9, 2019
Our Bantam B player of the week is Jasmine Klunder. This is Jasmine’s first year as a Brantford Ice Cat and we are so extremely happy that she chose our team for her new hockey family.

She shows up to each and every practice, team session and game with that great big smile on her face. Jasmine has a positive outlook on any situation and she is a genuinely sweet young lady. From day one of team tryouts, way back in April , Jasmine has given a strong effort and always showed her dedication and hard work and great hockey ethic. She listens to her coaches and takes all suggestions to heart and works hard to be the best player she can be. When Jasmine scored her first goal as an Ice Cat this season she was so excited and her teammates were just as excited for her. These young ladies are really a fantastic group and they all celebrate and share in each other’s success. They are truly the definition of what a team truly is. They get together outside of hockey and really enjoy each other’s company. In years to come they will remember all the amazing give-back initiatives and successes they participated and helped to create together as a team this hockey season, probably more so than their overall winning success. Jasmine has grown up playing this amazing sport that we all love so much. She may not live in Brantford but does attend school here, also playing on her high school hockey team. Hockey brings people together and is a fabulous and active sport to help mould these young ladies into structured, dedicated and hard working athletes. Jasmine thank you for always helping out and volunteering your time without having to be asked .... especially with our latest Food Bank Donations Challenge and canvassing at 2 local grocery stores. You are awesome, never change .... can’t wait to see where this season takes you. Your coaches and teammates.
