Peewee B take SILVER at the Scarborough Tournament Jan 2020

This past weekend (Jan 3-5, 2020) our Peewee B Ice Cats played in the 36th Scarborough New Year’s Classic Tournament. The team was determined to start this year with a WIN!
The Peewee B division consisted of four teams: the Durham West Lightning, the Scarborough Sharks, the Waterloo Ravens and our Cats.
Each team came from a different region within the LLFHL. |

The Round Robin consisted of 3 games per team and the Peewee Ice Cats ended in 1st place.
The team played 2 games on Friday and 1 on Saturday.
Friday’s games were against the Waterloo Ravens and the Durham West Lightnings. Both games were won 3-2 and 5-3 respectively.
The Scarborough Sharks were played on Saturday with another win (2-1).

The Championship game was Sunday against the 2nd place Round Robin team – the Durham West Lightnings.
What a game! Unbelievable!
A game where the Cats had to give it their all.
At the end of the 3rd period, the score was 4 - 4.
UGH - Overtime. At the end of the OT period, the score was 4 - 4.
UGH, UGH - Overtime #2. Hearts pounding, palms sweaty, and Durham West scored.
A great game played by our Peewee B Ice Cats.

The Cats are bringing home the Silver Medal.
These players excelled all weekend and gave their fans exciting games to watch while they cheer them on.
