Bantam HL Take the GOLD at the Woolwich Wild Shoot Out Nov 2019

The Bantam HL Ice Cats played in the Woolwich Wild Shoot Out tournament this weekend (Nov 29 – Dec 1). There was a pool of 4 teams: Oakville Hornets, Kitchener Lady Rangers, Twin Centre Hericanes and our Ice Cats. Before each game the team huddles for a team prayer in the dressing room.
	In the Round Robin, each team played one another. Our Cats had 3 shut-out games! Game results were: Kitchener Lady Rangers (0-5); Oakville Hornets (0-4); and Twin Centre Hericanes (0-8).
Semi-finals were held on Sunday morning with the Cats playing the Twin Centre Hericanes where they won 7-0.
	The Championship game in the afternoon was against the Kitchener Lady Rangers. Once again the Cats did not disappoint - another excellent winning game for the team (2 - 0)
Congratulations to the Bantam HL team - players, goalie, and coaching team! 5 game shut-out! The first tournament GOLD Medal win for the BGHA season! Just in case you haven't been following this team - they have played 15 games this season and have 15 wins! You GO GIRLS!
