U22 HL wins SILVER at the Walter Gretzky Tournament 2022-23

The 41st Annual Walter Gretzky Tournament was quite the weekend for our U22 HL Ice Cats and the fans.
Our Cats were in a pool of 5 other U22 teams: the Techumseh Tigercats, the South County Predators, the Lakeshore Lightning and two from the London Devilettes (the Fieldhouse and Proulx teams).
Our U22 team was in 1st place in the round robin with 3 straight wins!
Friday they defeated the Lakeshore Lightning and London Devilettes (Proulx) teams, 3-1 and 3-0 respectively.
Saturday was another win (2-0) against the London Devilettes (Fieldhouse) team. Everyone was so excited for the final game on Sunday against the London Devileetes (Fieldhouse) team.
It was an exciting and touch and go game on Sunday. Our Ice Cats gave a stellar performance until the last buzzer. The game went to the London Devilettes (2-1).
Congratulations to our U22 Ice Cats in winning the SILVER!
