U11 HL Black Ice Cat Team win SILVER at the Flamborough Winter Chill 2023/24
| Another brave Ice Cat team battled mother nature this past weekend to win at the Flamborough Falcons Winter Chill tournament. They were in a pool of three other Flamborough Falcon HL teams (White, Black and Teal). |

The team started the tournament with a tie game (0-0), and then a loss to the Falcons White team.
After a good night's sleep, the team was ready to battle the cold and their opponents.
Saturday had our Ice Cats playing the Falcons Black team twice with two wins. The first game (at 0700 hrs BTW - ugh) was a 1-0 win and the second was a 2-1 win.
Sunday's Championship game was a nail-biter against the only team that won against the Cats this weekend (Falcon White team). 0-0 at the end of the 3rd period - so we know what that means - Shoot-out. IT TOOK 7 ROUNDS!!
Great hockey and great teamwork deserving the medal.
