U15B Ice Cats win SILVER at the Flamborough Winter Chill 2023/24
Despite the Winter Weather Warning, our U15B Ice Cats braved the elements and came home this past weekend with a SILVER medal. Unfortunately we do not have a team pic for this win.

The Cats were in a pool of 4 teams: the Amherst Knights, the Flamborough Falcons, the Mississauga Hurricanes and the Cats. Despite being last in the Round Robin standings, they showed their force by winning in the semi-finals (1-0) against the Mississauga Hurricanes, who were first in the Round Robin. They gave this game their all where it was 0-0 at the end of the 3rd period. Once again it was a shoot-out for a place in the finals that went 4 rounds (oh, my heart!).

The finals on Sunday had our Cats playing against the Flamborough Falcons (2nd place in the Round Robin). It was a close game and team loss with 4-3 for the Falcons.
